I'm back...

Well yesterday was my first day back at the gym with Mike. It was awesome! The bikes were a little tough, but totally worth it. My Sweet boy, Dave also joined us at the gym, and is hoping to make that a permanent arrangement. Yay! I spent 1/2 my time working cardio, the other 1/2 working weights. I'm a little sore today, and I am really looking forward to getting back in the gym tomorrow. I stepped on the scale yesterday and I'm still at 259. Good news is no weight gain during my week off. Sweet!

Good News!!

So, surgery went well yesterday - nothing really major. During the surgery my Dr looked up and said 'You are a lucky girl." I naturally asked why, and he said things were a lot better than he thought it might be. Long story short, my 6 weeks sentence was diminished down to 1! So...I'm still grounded from the gym this week but I will be back in the gym full swing on Monday! Yay! I talked to Mike today and he was very relieved to hear it too. :)

So far my week has been good - nothing bad food wise. My little brother is in town until Sunday so I've been spending time with him and my family. Hope everyone is having a great week and a fantastic Mother's Day - It's Sunday, May10.

Weighing in...

Hey bloggers! Today is my weekly weigh in and guess what? I am down 2 pounds! I now weigh 259. Can I just say this is the best I have felt about myself in weeks. That's 13 pounds total! Can I just say I am way excited. Even more exciting, I got dressed yesterday, and my tighter jeans aren't too tight anymore!! They are still a teeny bit snug, but I don't have to lay down on the bed anymore to zip them up. Yay!

Today I'm working and cleanin' up the apt, but I just wanted to stop in real quick and share my news.
